Following up the release of four successful singles, the family affair that is Fathers & Sons, consisting of two fathers, Håkan Nyberg (drums) & Hans von Bell (guitars), and their sons Pontus Snibb (vocals & guitars) & Thomas von Bell (bass & guitar), are now ready to release their first full length album "The Light that Remains"!
Pontus Snibb (Vocals & Guitars) comes out of the blues tradition and is best known as the guitarist and lead singer in the rock band ”Bonafide”. Pontus is also heading his blues trio ”Wreck of Blues” with his dad Håkan Nyberg. Recently he has been performing with "Mustasch" and "The Wildhearts". He is also known for his work as the drummer in Nashville based ”Jason & The Scorchers”. Pontus has released several solo albums too.
Håkan Nyberg (Drums) is the original drummer in ”Nationalteaterns Rockorkester” and has played most of the prog- and blues scene around Sweden. He also performs the drumming duties for ”Pontus Snibb’s Wreck of Blues” and many more for the past 50 years.
Hans von Bell (Acoustic-, Electric- and Baritone Guitar & Guitar Syntheziser) is a veteran from the 70’s hard rock scene. He toured with the pop/rock outfit ”CREW” in the early 80’s, also featuring Mats ”Limpan” Lindfors and session guitarist Kent Kroon. However, Hans is probably best known as the founder and principal songwriter of the melodic metal band ”The Soul Exchange” where he also performs the guitarist duties. Hans has released three full length albums and an EP with ”The Soul Exchange” as well as a solo album.
Thomas von Bell (Upright- and Electric bass & Acoustic Guitar) is best known as one of the founding members and co-guitarist with ”The Soul Exchange”. Although, most recently, Thomas has released the debut album with his own musical project ”Cyclical Time” in the hard core metal genre, as well as working as a producer and recording engineer for other artists.

The song "If Tomorrow Does" is taken from the upcoming album "The Light that Remains" and is an original composition written by Hans von Bell and Pontus Snibb, with lyrics by Jens Joel Evaldsson.
The song is Fathers & Sons homage to the great Albert Lee and also features Janine Nyman & Filippa Nässil (Thundermother) on backing vocals.
As opposed to “Wichita Lineman”, this song is an original track penned by Pontus Snibb and Hans von Bell and again produced by Thomas von Bell. The song is a homage to the band members rock roots and the music that has inspired them over the years, while still maintaining the acoustic signum of Fathers & Sons.
